Slimona (Acomplia) as a prescription drug is used primarily to treat persons who are overweight and have an initial Body Mass Index of greater than or equal to 30 kg/m2. Persons who are overweight but have a Body Mass Index of 27 kg/m2 or higher and also have medical risk factors like diabetes are also prescribed Slimona.
